Hello! My name is Maria, I am an English-Russian/Ukrainian native-speaking translator. For me being a translator is not just a profession, it is my passion, and I’m ready to put all my effort into ensuring the highest quality of my translations. In 2011 I got a Master’s Degree in Translation from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. I’ve been working as a translator since 2010. From July 2012 till August 2015 I’ve been working as an in-house translator in Ukrainian Translation Company “Azbuka”. My duties included: - translation and subtitling of audio materials; - editing translations of freelance translators; - checking test translations of job applicants Working as an in-house translator means that you have to be a “universal” specialist. I had to translate texts ranging from general to technical and business and many other fields. But it helped me identify my fields of specialization: business, legal and marketing and texts of general nature.
